Lea & Will’s Wharfedale Grange Yorkshire Wedding
Leanne & Will recently got married at the stunning Wharfedale Grange and what an incredible day it was! Wharfedale Grange is the picture perfect spot for a beautiful Yorkshire wedding. It’s a luxurious family run Wedding Barn venue located in the rolling hills of North Yorkshire, just outside the spa town of Harrogate.

The Day
It was a pleasure to be invited to capture the very special Yorkshire Wedding of Lea & Will last month. Leanne and I go way back, we worked together at our first part-time jobs as teenagers! Being invited to capture their wedding day was such a privilege.
We began with a relaxed morning at home. Wedding mornings can often be quite busy and hectic so it was really lovely to enjoy such a peaceful start to the day. Chrys and her team did a fantastic job with hair and make up and even found time to spare! Lea and her dad then made their way to the venue in a gorgeous open-top classic car.
The Ceremony
The ceremony itself was full of emotion and special readings. There were lots of opportunities to capture some stunning images of the new Mr and Mrs Greenway. Then there was the confetti walk-out and as guests enjoyed the sunshine and canapés, Lea & Will slipped back into their ceremony space for a quiet dance together among thousands of twinkling fairy lights. This was followed by a selection of family formals and some bridal portraits with the stunning Yorkshire dales as the backdrop.
The Reception
Guests were treated to a round of speeches filled with love and laughter, before the wedding breakfast began.
We kicked off the evening’s festivities by cutting the two-faced wedding cake (courtesy of the fantastic Sweet Sensations). This was followed by a beautiful Father-Daughter dance before Lea & Will took to the floor with the help of confetti cannons!
Finally, we were treated to the most incredible golden hour of sunlight for bridal portraits.
The sun dropped low to the horizon and revealed epic scenery and a super cinematic, hazy glow. These images could have come straight out of the movies and I am absolutely delighted with how they turned out. The joy between them is just palpable.
Everyone partied long into the night. With the festivities in full swing we didn’t pack away until nearly 11pm!
