Rudding Park Harrogate | Rebecca & Craig

Over the summer I photographed Rebecca & Craig’s wedding at the stunning Rudding Park, Harrogate. A luxurious estate hotel set in 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland.

The Day

We started the day at the family home in Horsforth, alongside the fantastic Mulhern Media. The ceremony was held at their local Church. There was just time for a confetti exit from the service, before heading over for the reception in glorious sunshine and clear blue skies!

Before sitting down for the wedding breakfast, we took the opportunity to make the most of the beautiful day. We headed across the golf course on our own buggies, over to Rudding Park’s very own Love Island on their rowing boat for photographs. Then it was time for the family formal photos before it was time to eat. After the food was served, the Singing Waiters made their trademark surprise appearance! Thoroughly shocking everyone, they provided incredible entertainment for the afternoon.

As we headed into the evening, Rebecca and Craig had organised for a bird-of-prey demonstration for everyone. Majestic owls and hawks performed impressive feats and tricks for their guests, even landing on my own head at one point!

As the sun went down it was time to cut the cake and for the special dances. With an awesome band (The Coverup) they were then in great hands for an evening to remember. As I was leaving well into the night, the sweet cart was being raided, the dance floor full and guests were tucking into slices of the stunning cake.
